Where is everyone?? Nobody is answering their phones!
Jaclyn said Jordan's phoneline is down. Is that what's going on with you guys or are you just avoiding my calls? You know that my self-esteem can't take such rejection. =(

Hurrah for portaging being cancelled! I mean it really truly sucks for Jaclyn and Laura, but now Ashley and I can actually do something this weekend! So what's the plan man. Mansion? I'm off at 5pm tomorrow so I'm up for pretty much anything.

p.s. Glad to hear you had fun at tennis Laura and actually those names mean less than nothing to me. Zing.

p.p.s. Ashley if you hadn't taken that shift on Saturday we could have gone downtown. You and your incestuous need to earn money. I kill you both.

My mom and I went to the tennis today. We stayed for the full day session (11:00am - 7:30). It was AWESOME!!!!! Without a doubt the best match of the day was Ivanovic vs. Bartoli. And yes I am aware that these names mean absolutely nothing to you guys (except possibly Katharine). AWESOME!!!!!

p.s. Ashley, I believe it was you who said it was pretty much pointless to try to pick up shifts for my days off. This was all part of your evil plan wasn't it? EVIL PLAN!

TENNIS = AWESOME!!!!

Awesome, party time Friday night!! And I ablsolutely agree with you Laura that we should get ridiculously drunk. Throwing up is always fun! Oh yes and also Laura, had you told Farhad you were no longer going away you would have been able to pick up the Saturday night shift as Sam can no longer work it. Now it belongs to me.

Yes, the portaging trip is off. I was really looking forward to it, but due to the expensiveness of my trip to newfoundland I can't really afford it anymore. Maybe next summer. As for next weekend, I open saturday morning, so I won't be going out anywhere. And I can't afford to call in sick for and eight hour shift.

The portaging trip is off so I am free for a little Friday night partying at the Mansion! I want to get very, very drunk. I think we should all get so drunk that we throw up numerous times and then pass out in the parking lot of the Mansion. Whoo!

Are you talking about doing something this weekend(20th-21st) Jaclyn? I thought the portaging thing was this weekend.
As for the following weekend, we are planning to go out on Friday the 26th. Don't know where yet but there will be drinking involved and lots of it...which, in turn, will lead to dancing...and potato eating. Yummy!

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I've had a busy and hellish two weeks. I just got back from newfoundland the other day to return to work the same day. and now I have to work even more like crazy to make up for that trip that I couldn't afford (although I'm still glad I went). I still have this weekend booked off, but I need to pick up some shifts. I'm up for a girls night or something, but I don't really feel like going out drinking this weekend. If anyone is interested please let me know(via posting if neccissary) which night everyone is down for this, so that I can pick up a shift for the other day--it would be helpful and appreciated.

laura your skills as a journalist are astounding, although i may have mentioned more about the absent yet very witty and attractive katharine, who, unfortuanately will be unable to attend due to a wedding rehearsal dinner in which she has to attend as well the the wedding she will be attending, and i think will be starring in the very next day, tickets are still available for those who seek out weddings in which to crash, also know by the media as wedding crashes.

p.s. im hoping to go see that movie by tuesday (crosses her fingers and gives a little squeal of joy)

so for real are any of us doing anything this week/weekend?

Wow Laura you have an exceptional memory, I do believe that is exactly how that conversation went down. Amazing, just amazing!

In addition, please note that the 26th is the LAST weekend of August and since our Niagra Falls plans got all blown to hell this night out is a must. Rearrange your schedule, call in sick, quit, I don't care, just come out.

LOCAL BORES PLAN RARE EVENING OUT

A ripple of excitement passed through a local Tim Horton's on Saturday night as local dullards Laura Springate, Niamh Canavan and Ashley Willems decided that all three would be available for a night of drinking and dancing on the 26th of August.
"We've planned outings before, but they never quite seem to work out", said Springate to nobody in particular. "I have a good feeling about this time though. As long as we don't end up somehow trapped overnight in an abandoned, haunted mine shaft like last time, it should be good fun". Springate went on to add that she will be attending the Roger's Cup tennis tournament this coming week, though what that had to do with this story remains unclear.
When reached for comment, Willems claimed that she too, was excited for this potential evening out: "Usually I just sit at home and cry, so I think that this will probably be a bit better than that. I just hope that Whiskers will agree to come. I just don't know what he'll wear though. He's got a bit of a weight problem and so he's a bit self-conscious". Suddenly Willems eyes grew wide in fear, "you won't tell him I said that will you?"
Asked about the alleged August 26th plans whilst plying her trades at the local Animal Zoo, the leprauchan-clad Canavan appeared overjoyed at the prospect of a night of hard drinking. "I'm Irish you know. We like to drink. We also like potatoes", she added while shovelling a bowl of hearty mashed potatoes into her mouth. "I can't wait to get pissed drunk and pass out by the side of a road", continued Canavan in clear hearing range of a group of young, impressionable children. "If we can get a hold of some weed then all the better".

PS. Jaclyn I expect you to come as well. No excuses!
