I can't believe that they played "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" on TV in Russia. I've been looking for that movie everywhere. And who cares about David Usher's new song? It's all about the Backstreet Boys' (or Backstreet as the are now called) new single coming out March 18th. I'm so excited!

By the way, Jaclyn and I well be coming home this weekend for March Break so I expect crazy adventure to ensue. We are definitely going to the bar one night and hopefully we'll get shot at, as Ajax seems to be becoming the new Scarborough. I blame Jaclyn for bring all her negative Scarborough vibes with her to Pickering and now to Ajax. Damn you Jaclyn and your redheadedness.

Niamh did you read my post about the Communist Rally? USSR all the way baby!
Everything is an adventure here, from trying to send postcards to trying to buy a Coke. You need your passport just to get into the "public" library here.
I heard Black Black Heart by David Usher here the other day on a bus. That was very, very unexpected indeed. Which reminds me that David Usher should have a new song out. Has anyone heard it and is it good?
Tatu and I "hang out" daily. Wink wink.
I wish I could have been at the birthday extravagandas. Sounds like some crazy times in the North Bay.
Oh and Niamh, you'll never guess what was on TV here last night. Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead. Yeah that's right. They sure do love their random American movies here.

Ditch you Jaclyn. I did not ditch you. Wait till we go to Ireland and I leave you in some seedy little bar full of drunken Irish people who have no teeth and smell like an old gym bags. Then I'll have ditched you. Just you wait; you'll feel my wrath. Worst enemies ever!

So Laura, we have yet to hear of any crazy Russian adventures. The reason we started this blog is so that you could tell us all about crazy Russianness. And so far nothing. Have you gone out to bars and such where people do that Russian dance where their arms are crossed and they kick their legs? Or have you gotten stupidly drunk off Russian vodka which I assume they drink like water there? Or have you seen any indication of the raise of the Soviet Union, say like men walking about in large groups, marching like they do in those World War II videos, again with their legs kicking out? Or have you bought you self one of those furry Russian hats yet? And have you had any intimate rendevous with the girls from Tato?

Yeah... I have to say I got payback for making the waitresses sing on niamh's birthday. Although I made up for it on saturday by getting super drunk and dancing to gwen stephani with Bradey. Since Niamh's an ass and ditched me on saturday! stupid Niamh!

Who watched the Oscars last night? I think that the Oscars have become the most predictably boring award show ever. Beyonce sang on it like three time and what the heck was P. Diddy doing there? As a host nobody beats Billy Crystal especially not Chris Rock who's jokes were incredibly lame.

On a lighter note, to the dismay of Jaclyn and to the delight of me, a bus load of drunken bar goers sang Happy Birthday Jaclyn as we were on our way to the bar. Jaclyn also got her picture taken at the bar with two girls who had their tops painted on and was hit on some creepy pool player. Jaclyn's bother also made quite the spectacle of himself when he danced in the middle of the dance floor by himself to an Evanescents song. It was quite amusing.

Aww I thought it was only my friends who were celebrating me leaving the country. Now I find out my family was joining in? I'll just go cry in a corner now... Thanks for ruining my life Ashley.
Seriously Jaclyn, there's no better place to perpetuate a drinking problem than Russia. The country that downs vodka like it's water.
Anyway, good to hear that Whiskers the cat is feeling better. Pirate's still cooler.
There was a Communist rally here yesterday. I wanted to take a picture but I was worried that people would start yelling at me and try to smash my camera. Thus, I decided against it. It was pretty cool to see though.
