Ashley, did you get your midterm test shedule? you said if that test you don't wanna study for was on the monday you might come up for my birthday. I know it's probably a long shot but it would be so cool.

Actually Ashley, Cuzina had shut down before I left Ajax. There was a sign saying they didn't pay their rent. =(
Ashley or Katharine email me your home addresses (I'm guessing you will Ashley since Katharine posts once in a blue moon). I bought post cards I want to send for all of you.

I can't believe how good the weather is here right now. I'm so glad Adam cancelled coming up for Niamh's birthday to avoid that appearent "storm". It's been sunny and beautiful all week and they call for the same all weekend.
Anyways, I know Niamh doesn't use the computer on weekends so

Laura guess what?! Cuzina's has officially shut down. That didn't take too long did it. We were right, very right indeed.

I'm having a great time in Petersburg, although your "Laura's finally gone party' makes me cry at night.
I took the metro for the first time today so that was quite the adventure. They advise you not to speak English on the metro because apparently that can lead to rape and death. So, good times.
I couldn't resist buying two books today because they are Buffy and Charmed....in Russian! I thought that was awesome.
I started classes today. I have to catch the bus at 8:45 am and it doesn't start getting light here til about 9. It's sooo cold!!!
Anyway, my roommates are pretty cool. No hot romances yet. Not a lot of people speak English which is both a blessing and a curse I suppose.
And Niamh, I'm living in a dorm for foreigners so the keyboards are in English thankfully

Laura how's it going in Russia? How are your roommates, classes and such? Have you met any hot Russian boys yet? Oh, just out of curiosity(or maybe stupidity), when you use a computer over there, other than your own, to type up say an email or something how do you change all the typing to English as I assuming it would be all in Russian. Also wouldn't you find the keyboard really hard to use cause it again would all be in Russian. You would have to teach yourself how to type all over again. Just a thought. Hope you are having fun and are not too cold.
