Someone's cellphone ring on the subway yesterday was the openning tune to "All That She Wants" by Ace of Base. I couldn't decide if that was really cool or really sad. I've now decided that it's definitely really cool.

They're quite fond of Celine Dion here which is strange and very unfortunate. I heard Avril Lavigne in a store yesterday. They play a lot of english music here actually, which I don't mind a bit.

Anyway I hope your birthday was awesome Niamh. There better have been drunkenness. And potatoes.
